Insurance products are available through our subsidiaries: Protective Life Insurance Company, West Coast Life Insurance Company, Protective Life and Annuity Insurance Company (our New York licensed company), and Lyndon Property Insurance Company.

Our Beginnings

Our flagship subsidiary, Protective Life Insurance Company, was founded in 1907 by Alabama Governor, William Dorsey Jelks. His vision for Protective is part of what guides the company today. He envisioned Protective as a:
